Yay fun!
I am happy. You people make me happy like good sushi makes me happy. And I happen to have just eaten some good sushi.
random_stabs took me out on a date to my first opera, which was super fun. Well the date was fun, the opera was done very well. And it was freezing. I was waiting for it to snow, but it never did. I think it may have been to cold to snow.
random_stabs was super sweet the whole time & bought me sushi & after I got over the fact that I was on a date & wearing a dress, I was able to participate decently in my half of the conversation. Best part of the date was talking to Randy on the way back home. It was good.
Friday night after belly dancing I got to hang out with some of my favorite lesbians and eat tasty food & drink tequila shots & watch Black Snake Moan- which is a weird fucking movie. God I miss getting drunk & hanging out with these women. I need to clear my schedule some more.
Saturday I didn't eat till 1pm which was bad cause I woke up at 7am & then went to work out. I got a new desperately needed key for my car and headed to opheliasavalon 's for her & her man J's birthday. They fed me, as usual, and then I fell asleep while watching their Venture series. I was very sleepy. Jayme came & woke me up, but then she was aleep on the other side of the room not 20 mins later. Finally got up cause it's rude to sleep at someone's party (I love you J & opheliasavalon !) and headed to Eeyore's birthday with randomdream , people who will not be named cause I don't know their handles & Rowan. Eeyore's was a fucking blast. It was perfect. We sat on blankets under trees and watched eyecandy... so much eyecandy pass by. We hung out & talked & I saw other people I knew & they came & sat by us & someone smoked me up & for the record, 'perople who will not be named' are super cool. They were a blast to talk to & share stories with & they didn't care that I was a little disoriented and touchy & feely & scratching up their backs. And then I walked around in a seething mass or people scantily clad in crazy and saw my Red Camp Bitches!! I miss them! They are fun! Anyway, I can't tell you how perfect & sweet everything was. Oh, Leigh was in this clown outfit & miming & was Fucking Awesome! She makes my heart happy when she performs.
Anyway, we went back to opheliasavalon 's so I could give J his birthday present & hang out with them more. But then we got hungry, so Dan & Emily & Not Andrew & I went to Hyde Park Bar & Grill to grab some food & to bring back Wom Kim's peach pudding of orgasmic goodness. That was really great. Like fantastically great. Not Andrew reminds me of a cross between bdobbs & jasexavier , which are two of my favorite people (who I never get to hang around enough *angst*). Anyway I forgot how much I miss meeting new people & it was hilariously funny & good times. We have all agreed to go to a sing along together, even Emily who lives in Dallas. She said "it's only 3 hours away!!" Now that's love.
Then today I had a pretty spectacular leadership training where I met a cool guy named Jack (who ran it) and I got to see Lannie again- yay Lannie!. Then I went to the Spark meeting where I got to see lots of other people- yay! It was beautiful day today & yesterday & perfect for sitting outside & enjoying it which is what we did. After the meeting I go to shoot guns with Crowl at the range & then after that I went to Jac's (little old super cool lady who I want to bring to Odd Friday) and we drank wine, sat around & talked & grabbed some sushi. She is fun.
But now I am home & I am tired and sleep will happen. I am very excited and happy for Flipside & very sad that I can't go for the whole time & participate as much as i want to. And I really don't give a shit about tesla coils or balloon temples of sky chairs, I just want to go for the people. I love love love the people. All the rest is icing.
