ETON!
Ach scheiße! I haven't updated for several months!
Eton Choral Course 2 was brilliant - the private/public schoolers were, in general, very friendly and although my voice went really weird in the middle - going into falsetto because I was tired - my voice was at its best at the end. I also had an attack of nosebleeds but they helped in the longterm because I got a morning off feeling dizzy so I had a nice break.
There was about 10h singing per day and various concerts (Evensong in Oxford University Church; Eton College Chapel, Consort Group Performances, mini-masterclasses) as well as Solo Songs, Collegium Regale (Choral scholars of Kings College, Cambridge), a Masterclass from an ex-opera star to watch. It was a shame that I didn't perform in solo songs because I was so tired that I couldn't sing decently. Oh well!
The BBQ and disco at the end of the course were brilliant. It was on Eton's island in the Thames :) I loved the dancing so much...
