DEUTSCHLAND ÜBER ALLES

I'm having an amaying time in Germany - Laura and her family are simply amazing - so friendly and welcoming and their 2 little dogs are adorable... One's called Paco who comes from Spain and he is 12 years old and the other is a Jack Russell called Demon because he has a demonic leer! He's 3 years old and loves playing fetch, burps and growls when you blow raspberries at him!
Yesterday I went to my first houseparty which was ok though the music was too loud and there was some broken glass. One German boy cut his foot badly so there was blood all over, so it ended at 11.48pm (to be precise as the Thompsons would say)! Another big problem was Megan drank too much so she was really sick and had to go to hospital by ambulance but luckily she's ok now.
After the party I went to a bar where Laura and her friends were and I really enjoyed chatting with them. They're all really sweet and funny... I don't know why but I decided to flirt with 2 guys, Nikolai (who is Russian) and Manuel, who are 20 (though it descended into a discussion over penis size and lesbian porn...)! Katja was also really friendly and she's training to be a nursery school teacher I think. It's always easier to talk to people when you don't know them.
Today I went to the castle at Schwetzingen which had charming landscaped gardens and fake Roman (18th C) monuments of ruined temples, caves, bridges etc. The only prob with that was it was raining and quite cold.
