traveling question

Hey. sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm having a ridiculously hard time finding any information regarding this.
I live in Canada, and within the next few months will be traveling both to the US and the UK. What, specifically, do I need in order to avoid any issues at the boarder with my guide dog? Also what are the regulations concerning dog food?
