You know, maybe if you actually listened when people tried to explain things, you might know a bit more. [She frowns, plucking a twig and a few leaves out of her hair before tossing them away. Later when she's better rested she might be a bit horrified at how she's talking to Vergil, but right now she can't be bothered to care.]
[This Vergil, however, is far more tolerant of such things then the Vergil of DMC3, hell, then the Vergil who first showed up in the apartments. One can almost hear the amused smile in his tones.]
Mika, when I get into the habit of poking around on my own, I often fail to pay attention to things around me. Up to and including the fact that an 'ally' I had intended to betray from the beginning for being a tad too obsessed with demons was already partly demonic and playing me for a fool. However, I'm trying to work on remedying that.
[A brief silence.]
Would you care for a game of cards? I seem to have acquired a deck of them from somewhere.
[Oh well, sparkling sunshine and daisies, she knew she was going to blow it one of these days. She'd already done it at least twice with his brother. Besides, she's a horrible liar and she knows it.]
I know a lot of things, actually. I'm practically falling dead on my feet right now, but I'll sit both you and your twin down one day soon and explain a few things.
Dante's already asked me how I know about Lady and Trish, anyway. Really, Vergil, it can wait a while, I'm not exactly going anywhere and I can't outrun either of you anyway. Please don't resort to violence, I'm still recovering from my last close encounter with personal pain.
[Well, that's interesting. Well, he's willing to wait.]
I've come to the conclusion, belated and ignorant as it is, that violence isn't the solution to everything. You don't need to hurt anyway, this place is bad enough.
Want me to bring up some cans of soup along with the cards after your shower?
[There's a difference between intimidation and violence. Violence would be shoving Yamato through their guts. Intimidation would be holding the point near their throats and explaining what the consequences of pissing him off too much would be.]
Yeah, I did. And now I think you got some explaining to do, kiddo.
[Not that he's gonna DO anything-- it's just hard to swallow. Lady knew about it, maybe Trish even if he never said anything to her about it; it'd been a bit of a rough patch in life.

But seriously, you should've just kicked Arkham off the top of Temen-ni-gru when you had the chance. Would've saved everybody a ton of trouble.

Mika, how did you know his name? Or the name of the tower? I know I never mentioned them.
[Think fast, Mika. Really, really fast. Truth, or creative lie?]

Sounds amazing, actually. I think we still have some venison steak laying around, I don't think I gave all of it to your brother.

[Read, with the nice sharp point of Yamato's blade.]
Venison sounds good, a welcome change from anything else. I'm sure I can find a soup or two that will work with it.

It's amazing. I haven't had anything that good in ages, at least not since winter set in and the garden went into hibernation.

Shall I wander up there in a little bit, then?

Sure, just give me enough time to get back to the apartments and drag myself up the stairs for a shower, I can call you when I get out?

That will work perfectly.
[And give him time to look through his soup cans.]

So how does she even KNOW?]

[She rakes her claws through her hair, wincing as she runs into a snarl and has to work out some more detritus.]
Still, I think it's a fair call to say that Arkham caused everyone more trouble than he was worth...

Got shit I need to do right now.
