I would go outside and enjoy the snow, but the creeping guilt over not braving the frozen roads (it's not an excuse, I really AM terrified) and driving into the office has kept me glued to my computer screen, waiting for files that would not open and eagerly answering those wondering why I was on their buddy list at this uncustomary hour.
Did you know that the lately popular dance song "I Gotta Get Through This" is sung by a man named Daniel Bedingfield? The video is the strangest thing I've ever seen of its kind--a man who looks as though he works at the Gap, and actually uses his employee discount for his own outfits, stares intensely but awkwardly at you from the screen, and (or so it at least seemed to me) obviously lip-synchs to the womanly voice.
Nothing quite fits, but it's unpolished and endearing. I really like the song and adore his awkwardness.
