*grumbles and smiles*
I'm currently at school with a heinous headache and am hella sleepy. Probably gonna be here in work study for an hour or so. Kinda wanted to give a quick update on how things went and or are for those of you I don't see often or ever see.
Friday I didn't have to go to school at all because I did really well on a quiz. So slept in which was pretty nice. Been playing WoW kinda too much but at the same time I really don't care cause it's not like there's anything going on in my life anyways. Later I met up with a friend who I hadn't seen in a while so that was very nice. Had fun and slept pretty decent. I think though it was Friday, or Saturday that I found out my ex will be moving back to town and the person he cheated on and lied to took him back. *coughs* fucking moron *coughs and clears throat*
Following day we said our goodbyes and I headed off to do the volunteer work I had signed up for. By the time I got there there wasn't a whole lot I could do at the moment. So I made rounds with another Culinary student asking if anyone needed anything or if they needed help with anything. For the most part everyone had everything under control. At 2 we opened the doors letting the public in and it got crazy fun. I helped one woman by watching her table so she can run off and get some food and drinks. When she came back she was very grateful, gave me a hug and a free card she painted. So far so good. Walked into the "Big Foot Room" to ask again if anyone needed anything, the owner of the Napa Ridge Winery in Spokane, who was one of the big name sponsors of the festival, said he needed help bad and asked if I would help them pour wine and open bottles. So that's where I was for the remainder of the day. So here I am behind this huge long table with tons of wine bottles on it opening bottles, asking people what can I do for them and get them an I was having a blast. It was so much fun. After a while people were calling me by the name I had on my name tag, which was Dee, and it was just a lot of fun telling people about some of the wines and what not. I ran off really quick to grab a wine glass so I could try some of them myself before some of the really good bottles got drunken up. Considering I hadn't eaten much all day I had a nice buzz going after 3 or 4 glasses of very nice wine. The festival ended at 6 and I stayed till about 6:30 7ish helping them clean up. The owner Merv gave me a huge hug and thanked me for helping him out. And as a thank you he gave me 6 bottles of anything I wanted. So I ended up leaving with 3 very nice champagnes, a bottle of Syrah, A bottle of a dark flavorful Pinot Nior, and I forget what the last bottle I grabbed was. All and all I was given probably over $100 of very nice wines.
Got home and logged onto WoW. Hung out with guildies in WoW getting stuff done and of course flirting shamelessly with them like I always do. While I was playing my brother Malachi called me to tell me that he loves me and I mean the world to him. He also apologized for not coming up here with me and drinking the bottle of champaign I bought while I was down there. I surmised after a bit that my brother was "drunk dialing" which is always a good time. We talked a little bit more and laughed then we said our goodbyes. Wow Saturday was just a rockin day imo. The only bad thing about the day was that I slept shitty again. Otherwise though it was one of the best days I've had in a while. (Aside from finding out about my ex of course)
Sunday came and passed with not much going on besides playing WoW. It was either Saturday or Sunday that I helped out Ben with some quests that he had. Pretty slow day till a guildie finally logged on to help me with an instance. Got to bed kinda late and that brings us up to present day.
Aside from being tired and having a headache today should be a decent day. Gonna most likely log on WoW and get some reading and homework done. Eh oh well... Time to run upstairs and copy some stuff before I take off.
