Yesterday I did an interview with this wonderful Canadian director named Michael Mabbott (dir. "Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico" and "Citizen Duane").
I just wish I knew how to interview people in a very casual way. We took him out for drinks but I could tell he was nervous. And I could also tell that he sensed I was nervous... which might have made him more nervous. I ended up keeping him longer than I should have and as an apology I offered to pick up the bill but he wouldn't have it and paid for all of our drinks. That's never supposed to happen. Such a generous guy but... it's times like this that make me feel really young.
After Mabbott had left we ran into Kenny Hotz from Kenny vs. Spenny. When I introduced myself he said,
"No way. Sistahs like the show?"
Somehow, I was really charmed by this and laughed. Dan claims that he was "eyeballing" me but I think he had just never seen a black person who knew who he was before.

Monday (June 18th) is my G2 test. I will need well-wishes.
Also, I am now looking into getting another job. I'm spending more than I'm making.
