Taught my first lessons I made myself these past few days. Went ok. First period has never had me teach them before, so they were resistant to the lesson. 4th period knows me better so was better for me, even though a huge fight broke out between two students and I had to deal with it. It was over the discussion we were having on the story I taught. Overall it was great, and a wonderful earning experience. Mr. Ham wasn't there, so it was nice, but I dont have access to memos, grading or attendance, as they are all on the computer and I don't have a code. My first grading went well, too. I just have to work on closure.
Aislynn is doing GREAT in school! She is ahead of her class in reading already, and her teacher says she is just a joy to have in class. I am so happy and proud! Also releived to have her in a class where she is appreciated. She will be a princess for Halloween...thanks to Grocery Outlet. I love them. Just spent $50 on a weeks worth of food, including the $10 for the costume. I still have to pick up a few extra things, but otherwise we're good!
Watched a 3 hour Indian musical. It was great. So fun! Took me a few days, though. I have been going to sleep at 10 or even earler every school night. I hope my body gets used to the scheduale soon!
Already ready for bed. Damn.
Had 64 ounces of water today and am still thirsty!
