Starting Again
So, now that I am out of Bryn Mawr, maybe I have a little time to start writing in this again. Nothing much is going on, but typing is deffinitly faster then keeping a diary. I am working at an awesome job for the summer. I have my own cubicle which is so so exciting! The people there are amazing and hey, I get to play with radioactivity!!!! Mwahahahah.
I checked out some of the bars around broadway in Seattle last night. Ended up at this club called neighbors which I thought was a gay/lesbian club. (I went with my lovely friend Andrew) Apparently it is not just gay as both of us were hit on by several men and there were several straight couples there. The scary one was deffinitly the obviously gay couple who decided they wanted me for the night. I was like "We gotta go get a drink, sorry, bye" I danced a bunch though and met a cute navy seal guy. Although, you have to wonder how much of what people tell you at bars is really the truth. I had a lot of fun. Its been so boring around here because none of the people I usually spend time with have been back. Tophy and I went out for Indian food today though, at least I can chill with him for a bit. We are planning on going to Kareoke at some point. I miss Gulifty's Kareoke.
My mother and I also took this impromptu trip to a mock bavarian village in the Cascades called Levenworth yesterday. We ate at a beer garden! It was nice to spend some time together.
Oh, Update on what I will be doing with my life: I got a job!!!! I will be working at The Rockefeller University in Manhaten starting in Sept. I am going to be doing research for two years there. Its very exciting and should set me up well for grad school. YAY!!! Well, I have to get up way early for my job, so I should probably sleep...
