I have had a stressful week already, and it is only Tuesday. I had 2 job interviews yesterday and 1 this morning. I also got a message today that someone else is interested in meeting me and supposedly calling soon to set up an interview. Thus far, I'm not sure that any of the positions I have interviewed for are a good match for me. I guess it may come down to just how desperate I am to be back at work. So far, nobody in the research areas at UA want to pay a damn. One position actually is for 30 hours a week so they don't have to pay the extra 10 hours a week for a full time position. As for the other position, the PI wants someone with a decent amount of experience to essentially act as lab manager and run the entire lab by themself and pay close to starting salary of someone just coming in with no experience. I have bills to pay, and I know I am worth a lot more than what they have in mind. Hell, Duke thought I was worth a lot more when I had very little experience. Cheap bastards. I should find a PI that is new to UA since they seem to want to pay more. Eh. I'm going to eat lunch.
