They give you estimates (adjusted for your area) Of what a specific car repair should cost. I actually tried it out by putting in the last few repairs i had had done, and my costs were in the range they gave. So i put in the repair i need done to see what the estimate would be. My thoughts on it were that from my limited knowledge I thought the repair should be in the 300 ish range. The dealer had told me 800 (which i felt was way overpriced!). And repairpal.com said 250-380. Just an interesting piece of information.
They also have an iphone and android app--haven't tried that yet, but will download it eventually.
