AIM ads
Well, it was bound to happen.
For the last two weeks, my AIM account is being assaulted by a crapload of ad-spammers. Somehow or another, I've been loaded into some piece of crap program that tracks it, and spams it about 5 times a day to reconsolidate my debt...
I don't know what's the more annoying part, the fact that the telemarketers have figured out a way to call me without calling me, or that my Instant Messenger is now under attack from something more despicable then old men looking for young girls... marketing agents.
I've started to try to mess with them. I try to start conversations with 'em before they log the names off, with things like "Wow, REALLY? Look, I'm dumb about this stuff, so can you like tell me more?"
Every blue moon (twice now) I get the live body to recontact me (I give 'em 5 minutes before I warn and block)... I wait for it... then make sure they SEE the warn/block happen. heheh. You'd think they'd learn... At least it's a bit of entertainment for the day... kinda like pulling all the legs from one side of an ant and watching it spin in circles... that kinda fun.
