Well, this evening started off simply enough. Was going to buzz by metro's for some bullshitting and watching the tube.
I went to run out for some burritos, and my car wouldn't start. Short version, 2 days before my paycheck and I'm running on quarters, I've fried my battery. (A jump and auto zone checking the battery confirmed this.) Thankfully my friend was there to A) jump me, B) Bail me out. :)
I live a semi-charmed life. That could have been a LOT worse... like not visiting my friend and doing that in the morning when I was already 2 minutes late. Just damnably frustrating.
So, other then that, I crashed a development server at work (not a big deal, just embarassing, that's why it's a dev server), stole someone else's thunder (oops, I *WAS* just working on that project though), and managed to stub my toe for the better portion of the day. Ahhh, a day in the life.
On my way home, however, I pass someone trying to push a van down the road alone. I can't let this just happen... not after I got reminded of karma earlier... :) So, I help to try to jump him, no good, something else is wrong. Kid knows less then I do about cars. So, I help him push it off the road then give him a lift home over in Scottsdale, then come home.
Well, at least one thing went decently. Handed over my fictional company fusion in tycoon online successfully and without issue to someone else, so I don't feel compelled to 'have' to spend time on it.
