Third day of reporting. Sheesh. I haven't got sleep in a week. Last night, I stayed up all night to edit our video presentation for Philippine television and at the same time do some research for more information about the topic on the net. Seriously speaking, it was not easy. I had to transfer from one PC to another. Also, I had to wait for all the videos to download before I can start editing the video itself. After downloading, the editing began. It was my first time to edit video clips so I had to experiment on some aspects. Hence, I would like to thank Jed Guray for giving me some tips in editing. If it were not for you I could not have done a good video. THANKS JED! Enough of the video, arriving in school, I was totally not in my right self. Everything was just so tiring. I saw my groupmates editing the final powerpoint presentation. Yes. Last minute cramming. Never did this in my entire lifetime as a student but then with this course, I think this will be often done. *laughs* And so...the reporting started. The agony of waiting for your turn to talk in front is really the most nerve-wracking. Groups before us were pretty much good in terms of content and how they conveyed their era. Hence, with all the information they had, we as a group were nervous because we focussed more on local television rather than the influence of the west through the cable TV. When it was our turn to report, I was really nervous mainly because we had to report everything (me,illin and lyn) which I was not really prepared. However, impromptu speeches are truly proven effective. Somehow, though my words and sentences were all impromptu, it just came out naturally which I am truly grateful of. Speaking in front of Dr. Molo was really scary but somehow we were able to overcome this fear and go straight to the point. Started our report with a visual timeline where different shows per year was compiled into a sort of movie type. Then we proceeded with the report proper. We presented in sort of a timeline view where we described the contents/themes, famous shows and personalities per year. The group did not expect much of praise from Dr. Molo since we saw are report as nothing compared to the other groups but then the minute we finished our report with our conclusion, she uttered the words "Finally, that's what I want to see!" Hearing those words somehow gave a BIG relief to me and everyone else in the group. For a minute, I was able to breathe normally. *laughs* She commended our report for its organization. *phew* All of these were unexpected. As a matter of fact, until this very minute I can't believe that we were actually praised by Dr. Molo. At last, we were able to please her. However, this is just the start. It is a must to present a much better report. Yes, here we come ADVERTISING! *laughs* Oh yeah, before I forget I would like to thank my wonderful groupmates namely: Illin, Lyn, Tam, Mika, Audrey, Yaz and Toni who worked hard for this report to become a success. Love you guys! What you think of another trip to abs-cbn? *laughs* But anyway, we will have our heatstroke road trip again soon. As other people would say "career-in" na natin to! Go ngaraggirls!
