1. My username is guccipiggy8 because when I first got my aim screenname, I wanted it to be guccipiggy. Since 7 other people had the amazing idea first, I got stuck with guccipiggy8. I was so keen on getting guccipiggy and I'm lazy, so I stayed with guccipiggy8 (take that, guccipiggy9!). Finally, I used guccipiggy8 for every single account on every single app or platform I discovered later because, well, let's face it, my memory sucks.
2. My journal is titled 'And We'll All Float On Okay' because it's a line from a Modest Mouse song I like. It used to be titled 'My Green Plastic Watering Can', which I think is a lot cooler, but I changed it at a time in my life when everything and anything referencing Radiohead drove me to emo-induced melodramatic tears. Float On by Modest Mouse always gives me a little hope so... there it is.
3. My subtitle is 'And We'll All Float On Alright' because that's the following lyric to the one in the title. Very original, yes? But I find the redundancy to be eerily reassuring.
4. My friends page is called 'Other Mes' because when I redid the entire journal layout thingy I decided to cut the crap and name the pages based on what lj really is: narcissim to its highest extent (egocentrism too). (I also didn't really like the old title: 'I'm so creative but I cannot come up with a title for this page'.) So, Recent entries are named 'Recent Me', my archive is named 'Old Me', my friends' page 'Other Mes', my profile page 'Me' and my memories page 'Me me ME!'.
