its what set that girl on fire.

Its something that honors the immortal 10. The immortal 10 was a group of football players that died many many years ago on the way to a play in a UT football game. It was a really tragic accident that hit campus really hard. Since then they have had their own homecoming ritual. The first night of homecoming there is a freshman mass mtg where they tell you all about it and they pass down the flame. Its taken out to a large open area where all of the freshman have to guard it. The upper classman come and try to burn it and its up to little fishies to not let them. Then the night before the homecoming game they light the bonfire with the fire from the flame. It all comes together to make a really awesome homecoming!
