so the past few days have been AMAZING! I'm kinda still getting over being sick but i feel sooo much better than i did last week. I literally wanted to dig my own grave a week ago so i think its pretty safe to say that we're making progress.

I went to the Africa Benefit Concert tonight w/some of my lovely FCC girls. It was a concert to help support the many groups going to Africa this summer w/ either baylor or a group from a local (waco) church. 3 awesome bands played and then invisible children did a presentation. For anyone who hasnt heard of it, Invisible Children is the story of these children in africa who are being abducted by the rebels in Uganda. Millions of them are being captured, torturted or turned into killing machines. These children range from an average age of 8 to 14. How heart breaking is that? A group of 3 guys went out to africa 3 years ago in search of a story...this is what they found. Since their return home they have made a documentry that is getting more and more national coverage by the day. God has really been working, it was great to hear about their story. I talked to one of the guys who went on the initial trip 3 years ago and he gave me some great insight, a free dvd and other information so i could get my church back home involved. This is something i'm really excited about and cant wait to share with others!

Quote of the day:
"When people see things like this they always tell me their uncomfortable, the question is why?" - one of the 3 guys who went on the initial trip to africa commenting on peoples reactions to seeing pictures of the poverty and desperation in africa.

I want to go to Africa so much! I want to do missions. I feel like its about time i started giving back...and what an amazing opportunity...to go to Africa. wow. i love bayor and the wonderful opportunities that are being presented to me. I talked to my friend Mal today about getting information about a mission trip to India. It would be awesome if it worked out. God is so amazing...just thought i'd throw that out there :)

spring break = 1 week...i cant wait.

i had a voice performance the other day in which i got to perform Still Hurting, my all time favorite Jason Robert Brown song...it reminded me of nesa. i miss it. it was nostalgic and lovely.

its 2 am...i guess i should try sleeping...

I love you all! You guys rock!
