(no subject)
so yesterday morning i woke up and felt so bad that i decided it was time to go to the doctor. For me, admitting that i need to go to the doctor and being okay with that is a HUGE thing because i HATE doctors offices and hospitals. I've been to the doctor 2 other times in my life...once when i was born and the second time being when i broke my ankle in the 7th grade and needed crutches. So yeah, i somehow drag my very sick self over to the slc. I eventually get to see a doctor and after getting a huge stick stuck up my nose,crying and getting tests run, i'm told i have a 101 fever and a severe case of the flu...yuck. no wonder i didnt feel well. They gave me lots of drugs and told me to go to bed. I again, skipped all of my classes and passed out. I'm now so behind in my school work but already feel a lot better.

Janelle came and visted Sap and i last night, it was really nice to have her here and get to spend some time with her. Janelle,Sap, Savy and her roommate,Amanda and I all went to dinner at Cheddars last night for some yummy burgers and such. Afterwards we of course had to stop by common grounds, the typical waco hang out. After an hour or so of catching up, boy gossip and talking about our isa class and where everyone is and how they've changed, etc...we headed back to the dorms to get some sleep. All in all it was a great night and i was glad i felt well enough to go out. I said goodbye to Janelle at like 7:30 this morning because she had to get back to sa early so that was sad but it was good to see her while i did. yay for old friends and new friends coming together...i love it!
the rain up here is crazy. The way that our dorm is made is def. not rain friendly. When looking out my window i see this lovely brown pool of crud and it doesnt look as though it'll be going anywhere for a while because the entire area's fludded...the mosquitoes we'll have to endure i'm sure will be lovely.
so all in all, for being as behind in my school work and as sick as i am, life is wonderfully good. SING ends tonight so Savy and I are going to go to the announcement of the winners (i hope ATO takes first...) and then we'll most likely head over to ATO row for their big after sing bash which i'm looking foward to. I mean you just cant go wrong with s'mores, virgin margaritas (and actually an entire dry bar..yay for alcohol free college parties), and my most wonderful friends.
anywho, speaking of work, i guess i should stop using the internet as a form of procrastination and actually do something productive...yeah, about that...
