Sweet Doughnuts: (2/3)
***
There was only one time Yunho ever yelled at Jaejoong - at his ten week mark.
Once Yunho had finally processed the fact that he was going to be a father and Jaejoong was going to be the biological mother of his child, he actually began to get excited. He participated whole-heartedly in planning future events for the baby and even went as far as to do research on names.
While out at the store, Jaejoong was walking around shopping for bigger shirts while Yunho racked the merchandise isles, looking for gifts that he could stash away for future events.
When Jaejoong was done with the shirts, he walked around the store looking for Yunho, finally catching up with him and taking his hand so that they could walk to the checkout line.
Yunho should have noted that Jaejoong had been easily agitated lately. It was either that he was sleeping, eating, or yelling at something, even if it couldn't yell back (take the dish soap, for instance). He seldom ever yelled at Yunho, his brain must have known that he would've caused stress if he did something like that.
When the two got to the checkout line, Jaejoong handed his shirts to the cashier, waiting for them to be scanned so that he could pay for them. Yunho put a few things up next and they paid so that they could leave.
It was on the car ride back to their little house that Yunho got frustrated..
Snow was hitting the window, regardless of it almost being March. The sky was a dull gray and everything about the setting looked depressing. This is what Yunho blamed for his rambunctious outburst.
“I'm really excited.” Jaejoong started, trying to make conversation in the quiet car. “Are you?”
“Yeah.” Yunho was excited. He'd gotten over being scared and honestly couldn't wait. But he was tired and he didn't feel like talking, so he turned and smiled at Jaejoong.
“You don't sound excited.” Jaejoong responded, taking his finger and drawing on the glass. As parts of the window cleared, he looked outside, watching as the stores rushed by. “I know you weren't excited to begin with, but you are now, right? I just can't wait.”
“Yeah.” Putting both hands on the steering wheel, Yunho yawned and leaned forward.
“What's wrong? You don't want to talk to me?”
Yunho turned to look at Jaejoong who was glaring at him from the passengers seat. “You know that's not true, Jaejoong. I talk to you for hours on end every single day.”
This is where conversing broke off into an already pissed Jaejoong throwing accusations.
“Liar! I'm normally sleeping! Or eating! Or taking a bath which you don't even want to do with me anymore! Because I'm too fat, right?!”
“Wh- No! Where the hell did you get that one from?! You know that's not it! I just... there's a lot of deadlines I need to meet!”
“Deadlines are more important then me?”
“No! Don't pull that! You know it's not true...”
“Then what is it, eh? You can make time for important things if you try!”
“Jaejo-”
“And apparently deadlines are more important then I am! God, I wish you would love me mo-”
“Jaejoong! Shut the hell up! Seriously? God! You whine so much now! Can you just... SHHHH! I'm driving!”
“I...” The car fell relatively silent. “yeah.”
Facing the opposite direction of Yunho, Jaejoong turned his attention back to the buildings covered in snow, trying not to sniff as the tears came rolling from his eyes uncontrollably.
When he did sniff, Yunho sighed, looking in both directions before pulling into the closest parking lot he could find.
When the car was completely stopped everything fell silent except for the occasional sniffles that escaped from Jaejoongs nose.
Reaching up, Jaejoong yanked the bows from his ponytails, his hair falling down to his shoulders. He reached underneath his seat, pulling a beanie out and sticking it on his head.
“Jae, I'm sorry.”
Jaejoong sniffed loudly, putting his forehead to the glass of the car window. “Yeah.”
“I was being a jerk.”
The car went silent again and Yunho watched Jaejoong closely, waiting for him to reach for the handle of the car door and make a break for it, something that seemed rational given the hormonal male he was dealing with.
“Jaejoong, please talk to me, baby. I'm sorry, really... don't -”
“Yunho, I don't mean to be crazy. Just... please don't get mad at me. I try not to be so irritable. I'll try not to talk so much.”
“Jaejoong, I'm sorry. You can talk as much as you want. I'll listen. I was being a dick, I know. I don't want you to ever stop talking to me. Your voice is... perfect. It calms me down.”
Whipped would be the understatement of the century when regarding Yunho. He couldn't do a thing to upset Jaejoong if he tried without feeling absolutely dreadful afterwards. Even if he managed to convince himself before hand that he was completely justified in doing it, he just felt worse for actually being able to convince himself of such a thing.
“What do you want me to do...?” He continued.
“Yunho... God... I just...”
Lifting his head up off of the window, Jaejoong put a hand in it's place.
“What's wrong?”
“I really just...”
“...Jae?”
“God, Yunho. I want sex so bad right now.”
What. The. Hell.
“Oh.” Yunho turned away from Jaejoong, biting his lip. Thinking of how to respond to the statement, Yunho finally settled on, “Not in the car. It's new.” and then he started the car again laughing on the inside all the way home.
***
Jaejoongs mood swings were extremely odd. The things he wanted changed so dramatically it was hard for Yunho to keep up.
He tried his hardest, though.
By this stage in the pregnancy, Jaejoongs stomach was more then visibly noticeable. It was actually quite large, something Yunho hadn't expected after only 3 ½ months. Though there was a significant reason, Yunho hadn't even considered anything out of place.
Though Yunho knew better then to cut doctor visits all together, Jaejoong refused to go and see the doctor that had tried to kill their baby.
Finding another doctor was going to be expensive, but the challenge was important, and so when Jaejoong hit his fourteen week mark, Yunho called a new Doctor. Doctor Shim.
Doctor Shim lived in Florida, but was fascinated by Yunho's call and decided that he was more then happy to travel from Florida to meet them so that he could watch Jaejoongs progression and record it for future use. He would also bring along an assistant skilled in the birthing process who would help Jaejoong get through it as a healthy, young adult afterwards.
Kind of like a Midwife, in a sense.
When Dr. Shim arrived, he announced that he had already paid for a hotel and that was where his assistant, Park Yoochun, and himself would be staying.
Yoochun and Dr. Shim were set to work as soon as possible, and their first day a discovery occurred that changed absolutely everything.
Initially, Jaejoong had been happy with the choice to get a whole new doctor until the baby was born, but when he woke up to find a Park Yoochun going through his cupboards and throwing away his stash of Junk food, repentance fell out of existence and Jaejoong was well on his way to murdering somebody.
“What are you doing?!” He had shrieked when Yoochun grabbed the two bags of marshmallows from the cupboard and shot them into the trash.
“Jaejoong, you have to be careful about what you eat. I've been assigned to put you on a nutritional diet, Changmin suggests it. I've also been assigned to do Yoga with both you and Yunho to keep you active and fit during these months, so that it's not as hard to get rid of the excess weight after this baby is born. This will also count as good bonding time for you and your husband.”
Having a stranger come into his house and clean out the cupboards, Jaejoong wasn't happy. In fact, the first thing he did after the conversation with Mr. Park Yoochun, was run to Yunho crying about how he'd die without his Marshmallows. Even though all three of them (Jaejoong included) understood that he was being completely unreasonable, Yunho wasn't happy, either.
He stomped into the kitchen, driven by Jaejoongs teary eyes, and demanded an explanation, similar to what Jaejoong had done minutes before.
“Yunho, Jaejoong needs to be healthy. His situation is extremely irregular and we want him to be as healthy as possible in case of an emergency. If something bad were to happen to him and he wasn't even eating right, what chance would we have?”
Yunho couldn't argue.
“Well... you're right.”
“Tell him that he can have all of these things back again when the baby is born.”
Yunho stuttered, trying to find an argument, but decided that there really was no argument. Jaejoong had to be healthy and that was final.
“Can... can you tell him?”
“I already did. He ran to you, remember? Now be his knight in shining armor and run to the store to pick him up some fruits. Those have sugars that won't bother him.”
Yoochun resumed cleaning out the cupboards and Yunho walked solemnly to his and Jaejoongs bedroom, a place he knew Jaejoong would be, to tell him the news.
Tapping on the bedroom door, Yunho quietly let himself into the bedroom.
Dr. Shim was hovering above the bed, Jaejoong laying stiffly in front of him. Shim's hands prodded at certain spots on Jaejoongs stomach, his brows furrowed in confusion, teeth biting into his bottom lip.
The scene, overall, scared the hell out of Yunho.
“Dr. Shim?” He called, running over and standing beside the doctor. A worried expression overtook his features as Dr. Shim looked at him, one eyebrow raised.
“Mr. Jung-”
“Please, call me Yunho.”
“Alright, Yunho... when was the last time you visited a doctor?”
Yunho paled, sucking in air and looking at the ceiling. “Three and a half months ago.”
“That would explain why you have no clue what's going on.”
“...”
“Here.”
Reaching over, Dr. Shim grabbed Yunho's hand, placing it on Jaejoongs stomach and making him push down. “This,” He said, forcing Yunho to move his hand a little bit “ is what I assume to be the babies head, just by feeling it, of course. I'll have to get my ultra sound machine to be sure. What I'm puzzled about is why this,” he picked Yunho's hand up and moved it to another spot on Jaejoongs stomach. “is here. Do you know what this is, Yunho?”
Yunho swallowed, completely terrified by now.
“...no, not really. Should I?”
“It's another head.”
The room went silent for two seconds before Yunho pulled his hand back and dropped to the floor, hands flying to his face. Only expecting the worst out of the odd situation, he screamed, “Oh my god! I have a mutant child! What are we going to do?”
“Uhm... No! Yunho, Yunho, stop.” Dr. Shim knelt beside him on the floor. When the man calmed down, he continued to speak. “Think about it again. Put two and two together.”
Yunho thought a minute before the obvious hit him.
“Oh... OH! Twins? Twins!”
“Twins?! TWINS?!” Jaejoong echoed among realization. Obviously having been oblivious to the whole conversation before hand, his eyes widened and he began to scream. “Yunho! Twins! I can't believe this! Am I going to...?”
Dr. Shim smiled, obviously just as excited.
Yoochun threw the door open and ran in. “What happened! I heard a thump!”
“It was Yunho.” Dr. Shim answered.
“Twins, Yoochun!” Jaejoong screamed, throwing his arms triumphantly in the air.
“Wait, what?” Yoochun asked, completely confused.
“Twins! I'm having two babies instead of one!”
“Now, wait , that's just my theory. Yoochun, can you run downstairs and grab my ultrasound equipment? Do we have it here with us or is it at the hotel? I'm almost 100% positive that's whats going on, but... because I don't see what else it could possibly be. I can feel the feet of both children. Unless it's an octopus with two heads.”
“Oh, Changmin, stop.” Yoochun scolded, a hand going to his hip. “As if you haven't freaked Yunho out enough. He's already laying on the floor!”
Dr. Shim laughed.
“But, Jaejoong, you know this calls for a completely different diet plan. I'm going to need to help you become extra careful about what you eat, especially since you're feeding three instead of two or one. You and the two in your stomach need to get the complete amount of nutrition required.”
“Idontcareimjustsohappyyunnieomgweregunnahavefrickintwinsarentyouexcited?!” Jaejoong breathed.
Everyone quieted in the room as their brains slowly pulled the sentence apart word by word.
Finally Yoochun broke with a smile.
“Let's get to work then, shall we?”
***
Barely any of Yunho's deadlines were met. He'd tried to explain as best he could to his publisher that he was having family issues. He'd gotten chewed out for that one, but he ignored it. He had a husband to take care of.
He took an official leave from office a week after the whole ordeal with his publisher, which was three weeks after he discovered that he had made two babies instead of one. Changmin (something Dr. Shim had insisted on being called) had suggested he stay off of work because of all the distraction the pregnancy was going to cause him.
Likely enough, regardless of not having to worry about deadlines, Yunho was kept busy.
Jaejoong was eighteen weeks along, almost 5 months, and his stomach was already bulging out of almost everything he put on. It was May already, the months had flown by. Jaejoong was due at the end of July, and Yunho was excited, almost more so then everyone else in the house. Changmin and Yoochun decided to let him go and look for new clothes for Jaejoong and a couple of baby clothes.
It was on this wet day in the middle of May that Jaejoong and his curiosity got the better of him.
“You're married?” Jaejoong asked when he saw Yoochun reach for the fridge handle and the gold of his wedding band glistened.
“Ah! Jaejoong, I didn't hear you come in.”
“What's her name?”
Yoochun smiled, reaching into the fridge and grabbing a pitcher of milk. “It's not a 'she'.”
“Oh...?”
“His name is Junsu.”
“Ah. Park Junsu? That's cute. How old is he?”
“A bit nosy today aren't we?”
“How cute!”
“...”
Jaejoong walked to the cupboard filled with the glasses and grabbed two so that they could both have a cup of milk. “If you miss him, bring him here! We'll pay for the ticket. We don't mind having him stay.”
“There's not enough hotel room. There was only one hotel room available.”
Jaejoong stopped walking, an incredulous look on his face. “Here?! Of all places? I thought you'd have had the whole hotel to yourselves!”
“Ah! No, there's not a hotel here. This area is too small, not much of a tourist attraction. We stay at a hotel about ten miles away.”
“What? So far?! You should just stay here at the house with us so that you're not driving back and forth so much all day!” Walking the rest of the way to the counter closest to Yoochun, Jaejoong set the glasses down, watching as Yoochun began to pour milk for the both of them. “And what about Changmin? Is he married?”
Yoochun laughed, putting down the pitcher and reaching for his cup. “Yes, he is.”
Jaejoong sighed. “I'm sorry then.”
“Hey, it's nothing. I'll see Junsu in, oh, I don't know, three months?”
“Two.”
“Right, Changmin set the due date early.”
Minutes passed and the two young men drank their Milk in quiet. Eventually, Jaejoong spoke.
“Yoochun, I feel really bad. Please stay here. And please call Junsu.”
“...Jaejoong, seriously. Don't feel bad.”
“Yoochun. I can't get over it! Just... call Junsu. And have Changmin call his wif-”
“Husband.”
“Husband. It's only two months and we have plenty of room here.” As if to show emphasis, Jaejoong spun around with his arms open. “That way everything'll be smooth and we can all relax more! I'm sure you all miss each other and I feel bad. I won't feel better until you call him.”
The front door opened and Yunho walked in, toeing off his shoes and continuing on into the living room. “Baby?”
“I'm here!” Smiling, Jaejoong turned around and headed for the living room.
Yunho was ecstatic, the first thing Jaejoong realized. He had bags all over the floor, clothes absolutely everywhere. Jaejoong was a little bit worried that maybe they wouldn't be able to afford Junsu's ticked over. “Yunho, how did you carry all of these in?”
“I have magic hands, baby. Look at this!” Picking up a shirt, Jaejoong squinted to see what the bib said. 'You can say thanks to dad.'
Jaejoong snorted. “Which one?”
Yunho laughed before tossing it aside. He looked up from his spot on the floor.
“What're you smiling about?” He asked curiously, spotting the look on Jaejoongs face.
“I don't know! I'm just - I'm really happy you're so excited.”
Yunho stood up.
“Yeah.”
No other words were exchanged but after a minute of simply looking at each other, Jaejoong couldn't help himself. He stepped forward cautiously, putting both hands on either side of Yunho's hips, and leaned up on his toes to kiss the younger man.
It took Yunho a moment, even though he had known what was coming long before it actually came, but he kissed back and Jaejoong smiled against his lips before parting them and lifting his arms up to wrap around Yunho's neck. As he pulled them closer, Yunho sighed, relaxing and nudging Jaejoong back.
Figuring that there was absolutely nothing wrong with a little tongue action, Yunho wasn't afraid to let his tongue do it's work on Jaejoong. Convincing himself that he could stop the kiss when he wanted to was easier then he thought, and when the back of Jaejoongs knees hit the couch and he buckled, Yunho easily found a way to get him on his back. Breaking the kiss only to climb on top of him, Yunho unwound Jaejoongs hands from behind his neck and held them above said mans head as he leaned down to take Jaejoongs lips in another heated kiss.
Jaejoong moaned against Yunho's lips, smiling as he could feel a stomach brush up against his own.
Yunho and himself had only talked with Changmin once about Sex. He had said that while it's completely safe for women to have sex while pregnant, he couldn't be to sure about men and that if they decided to have sex they were to be extremely careful. This was when Yunho dismissed the topic and it hadn't been bought up again.
Yunho didn't call off the making out until he heard a coughing from the doorway.
“Mmffpait, wait, wait...” He called, pulling his lip from between Jaejoongs teeth.
Breathing labored, Jaejoongs brows furrowed together in anger.
“Damn... and I was getting so close to getting you to give in!”
“You were. Kudos, baby. I was ready to have at you.”
Jaejoong sighed, shrugging his arms and making Yunho release his hands. “Fine. Don't have sex with me. I don't care.”
“Yes you do.”
“Of course I do! Why wouldn't I? I want sex really, really bad! You shouldn't have even kissed me!”
“You're right. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have kissed you like that. But-” Looking to the right, Yoochun stood poised in the doorway with his arms folded across his chest.
“Sorry to interrupt, I was curious about what you bought.”
“Ah! Yeah!” Yunho said, a smile returning to his face as if he suddenly remembered that he had been shopping.
“You see,” Jaejoong butt in. “This is why we need Junsu here. Did you call him?”
“I did.”
“And...?”
“He's going to come down in two weeks.”
Yunho, who had been completely clueless, caught on instantly.
“Who's coming over?” He asked.
“Everyone. Changmin, his hubby, and Yoochun and his hubby.”
“Jaejoong-” Yoochun cut off. “I think I should tell you something, quickly.”
Jaejoong quieted, sitting up and nudging Yunho in the chest so that he could get up. Yunho stood up off of him, reaching out and carefully helping him up.
“Hmm...?”
“Well, I may or may not have two children.”
“...oh! You have children?”
Yoochun sighed and nodded. “Twins. But don't worry, we can stay at the hotel and Changmin can stay here.”
“Ah! No! I can't wait, I want to meet your whole family! Twins! Who ever would have imagined... then you can definitely teach me some things while you're here, right? I'm going to need to learn a lot...”
Yoochun laughed, scratching the back of his head.
“Junsu might have to help you with the kids. He does more then I could ever imagine doing.”
Yunho smiled.
“Oh?” Making a face, Jaejoong lay a hand on his stomach, moving it in slow circles.
“What's wrong?!” Yunho blanched.
“I think-” He waited a minute before a smile lit his face and he grabbed Yunho's hand, pulling him forward anxiously and placing it on his stomach. “I think the babies are kicking! Well, not both of them, just this one...”
“It is about that time.” Yoochun commented from the doorway. He slowly moved in on Jaejoong, and when he was close enough, Jaejoong took his hand. Yunho unenthusiastically lifted his own but was too excited to honestly care that Yoochun had taken his spot. He ran off in the direction of the stairs, determined to find Changmin.
Yoochun and Jaejoong just smiled at each other, Jaejoongs eyes glazing over with tears.
“You know, I think he just woke the other baby up...” Jaejoong noted, putting his hand on another spot on his stomach. “He's kicking, now, too.”
Yoochun reached up and quickly wiped a tear away that had escaped from the corner of Jaejoongs eye.
“That happens.”
“Did Junsu have his babies?”
“No, we adopted. It's odd that you can give birth, but you're very lucky. I wouldn't be surprised if Junsu wanted to try for a couple more children after we left.”
Jaejoong laughed, wiping his own eyes with the backs of his hands. “I'm sorry, then.”
“Don't be. I'm more then willing to try as many times as his heart desires.”
***
Junsu arrived at twenty weeks.
Changmin's husband couldn't make it for another three weeks. He was on a business trip.
Nevertheless, Jaejoong was just as excited to meet Mr. Park Junsu and the twins.
On the day of Junsu's arrival, Jaejoong spent hours on the couch in the living room waiting for them to ring the doorbell, and he was the first to get to the door (surprisingly enough) when they were outside.
Changmin knew Junsu quite well and Yunho was easily impressed by the children.
“I'm Park Junsu.” Junsu introduced himself to Jaejoong, sticking his hand out. “And this is Park Yoona and Taeyeon.” He gestured to the two young girls standing behind him holding hands. They wore cute yellow dresses and little black shoes. “Thank you so much for inviting us. You didn't have to and we appreciate the opportunity to get to meet you. Chunnie talked about you so much over the phone.”
Yoochun came waltzing in from the kitchen, rounding the corner with a hand on his hip and a smile on his face.
“DADDY!!!”
Yunho jumped at the shriek that ensued the arrival of Yoochun to the entrance hall and Jaejoong winced.
“Sorry,” Junsu apologized. “I - they've been waiting to see him for months.”
“I'm so sorry! I-”
Junsu bowed slightly, straightening quickly. “Please don't apologize. I'm just glad you invited me to come and stay. Yoochun said we'll be staying in a hotel?”
“Ah! No, you can stay here!”
“Su, babe, what're you doing? Come say 'hi' to me!”
Junsu smiled, slowly moving past Jaejoong and into Yoochuns open arms. Wrapping his own arms around his husband, Junsu rose on his toes to plant a quick kiss on Yoochuns small lips. “Hello, you.” He greeted, mindful of the two children attached to Yoochun's legs. “I've missed you a lot.”
“I know.”
“You big head.”
Hearing the name gently reminded Yunho of the nicknames he had for Jaejoong not too long ago.
“Big head...” Yunho mumbled, smiling to himself.
“What was that?” Jaejoong asked, turning around.
“Nothing. I just - hey, are they all staying here? I set up the guest bedrooms...”
***
Junsu's children had heavy American accents.
Coming from America it was to be expected, but the majority of the time Yoochun had to play translator because of a block in the communication. Though the children could often times point out what they wanted, occasionally nobody but Junsu and/or Yoochun could decipher what was being said because of the language barrier.
Junsu and Jaejoong spent all day playing with the children while Yunho and Yoochun went shopping for nutritional, sweet food.
“You're stomach is beautiful!” Junsu squealed one day when Yoona walked over and pushed Jaejoongs shirt over the round bump.
“Thank you.”
“It's real big.” Yoona said, tapping lightly on the smooth skin. Taeyeon walked up beside her, mimicking her actions whole-heartedly. When the babies began to kick, the girls began to scream. “It's movin'!”
Junsu gasped, quickly crawling through the toys on the floor and asking, “May I?” when he reached Jaejoong.
Jaejoong nodded quickly, taking Junsu's hand to where the baby was kicking. It wasn't necessary. The bumps from the kicks were obviously visible from the outside.
“That's so amazing!” Junsu noted, his eyes widening.
The girls were still shrieking in the background when Yoochun and Yunho came through the door.
“What's going on, chicks?” Yoochun asked playfully.
While Yoona ran and attached to Yoochuns leg, Taeyeon ran and attached to Yunho's, both girls having become quite comfortable with him.
“It's movin'!” Yoona screamed at her father, latching to his neck when he put his grocery bag down and leaned to pick her up. “It's still movin' 'cause I hit it and it started kicking me so thats why. Mommys messing with it.”
Looking over at their husbands huddled together on the floor with their hands on Jaejoongs stomach, Yunho and Yoochun smiled at each other before they both moved slowly into the living room.
“Su-ah, baby, I think it's getting late. We should get the girls to bed.”
Junsu turned slowly to face Yoochun.
“Oh! Okay, let's get the girls to bed, then. Thank you, again, Jaejoong. I'm really enjoying it here.”
Jaejoong waved him away, laughing. “You thank me every day, Junsu. It's the least I could do. Your husband is my nutritional doctor, after all.”
Junsu blew a quick kiss before turning and taking Yoochuns hand. Taeyeon released her grip on Yunhos leg and blew him a kiss before turning and running up the stairs with the rest of her family.
Jaejoong sighed and Yunho took a seat on the floor beside him, his hand automatically going to Jaejoongs unclothed stomach.
“I love you, Joongie.”
Jaejoong leaned over and kissed Yunho, mumbling against closed lips, “I love you, too, baby.”

A/N: So, this was written over the course of five days. Haha. I became unmotivated, for some reason. But now it's twelve pages and Jaejoong has about ten weeks left. The reason Changmin set the birth date early is only because Jaejoong is a male having children (twins, mind you) and twins are normally born a few weeks early. Erm... what else. Oh, yeah, Taeyeon and Yoona are little weenies. I love the names, though. And I'm writing for a round robin smut challenge. I hope I don't disappoint. There's a lot of dialog and mood swings in this chapter, so I'm sorry. What else? Oh, yes, the progression of this story is supposed to be this fast. It's only a three shot and it has 8 months to go, so... haha. Is this, like, too fast paced, do you think? Tellll meeeee! Okay, that's it.
