there's 2: one has a million different names, but it's dodgeball with w twist. we called it star wars. line of foam balls in the middle, two teams, at the 'go' all run, get the balls and a hit means your out- a catch means the other guy is out. but... not remembeering the name of this dude (bad because it's why the game got it's name) who has some sort of special object and can run around, tag people with it and bring them back to life, etending play time. but once the life saver is hit, it bring the game to it's final plays. so sometimes kids will have someone run around to block this dud from getting hit. (because when they get hit he brings them back)
last team with a person standing wins.

Also this is a funny one: wink
kids sit indian style in two circles, an inside circle and an outside one. there's an object in the middle. also one person in the middle. now the people on the outer circle must be directly behind one person from the inner circle. now, the fun begins. The person in the middle walks around the inside of the circle creating suspense and then, they wink at at some pair (a pair being the inner guy with the outer guy behind him) the person in front tries to crawl (no walking) to grab the object in the middle. the person behind has to try and hold them back, shoulders, arms, waist, legs. (no grabbing clothes) the pair has till the count of "whenever" depending on circle size. (not too hard and not too easy) if they get it, they are in the middle, the person holding them back is in the frint circle now, and the person who was winking sits behind them. if the object isn't reached before time is out, the pair simply switch spaces, and it keeps going and going till the kids get bored.

ps- good to know you are alive- happy outdoor adventures!
