So instead of buying a Wii I have applied to seven different colleges. Someone once said applying to colleges is like casting a fishing lure: Wait patiently until one bites. For me though this whole experience has been like writing a bunch of flyers that say, "Will you go out with me? Yes No (circle one)” and dumping them off a skyscraper. I am a little apprehensive. People are expecting me to do great things once I leave high school. Lewin said I should try some colleges out in NYC, but that sounded scary, so I'm going to try to stay in the Midwest. People are nicer here.

I retook the ACT in October and miraculously received the same score. The science section improved while the reading and math sections took a turn for the worst. I got 33 on the English portion, two points better than last time, which really psyched me out. =D
