Well yesterday evening, I receive an email from someone I randomly wrote off of facebook. I found her by way of common interests and goals. Her name is Hollie, and we chatted for I don't know how many hours, and we went from messaging, to actual online chatting, lasting until about 03:00 this morning (sunday).
First I want to thank my friends who've helped me get through the whole breakup thing, you all were right, I do deserve better than being used, cheated on, having mind games played on me, etc. I've been listening to your advice, and all I'm talking to her about now is finalizing getting a roommate so she'll be off the lease and all that's left is cancelling the phone bill, and I'll finally be done with it all. So anyway, I'm completely moving on, feeling so much better, the feeling of purpose has been restored (not that I didn't have a purpose before, I just feel a lot better than before).
So back to the story, I've been trying to hang out with some other friends (though I don't want to overdo it and be the third wheel, because though I know they care about me, they have someone they're with, and I don't like imposing upon that. Anyway, so Hollie and I chatted about a lot of things. Granted we didn't get to know each other in every imaginable way possible, but we did get a lot 'out of the way' so to speak...meaning we got a lot of basic (and common, I might add) interests. She's so awesome! I love cool people, and I'm excited, hopefully we'll have time when the semester begins at the end of August to hang out and get to know each other some more, and of course...play DDR (for those of you playing the home game, that's short for Dance Dance Revolution...if that means little or nothing to you, look it up).
So that's my updte for today...I'm starting to get into this journal thing, it's different...I've never done this before, but it's seeming to be neat. So even though I officially have only 2 friends on here (Hollie and Elizabeth), I posted a link to here on my facebook and on my myspace so that other friends who care can read.
later!
