Life is awesome. I've been too busy doing things this summer to sit down and write about them. So now that I have nothing going on at the moment (besides growing anxiety over the looming start of fall semester and the need to write that damn paper I should have wrote months ago), I shall get everyone up to speed. Like anyone cares. :)
1. Went to the Noise to the World Tour in Columbus, Ohio on May 11 with both of my sisters. (Good Charlotte and Simple Plan were co-headlining, Relient K were the opening act.) My first "rock" concert. The only other concert I'd been to was Bryan White when I was in the eighth grade...lol. It was so much fun, even though it stormed the whole time (it was an outdoor concert). We were about ten feet from stage, jumping around in the pit until our legs about fell off.
2. Went to Disney World with my family. (I know I already wrote about that on this journal, so I'll leave it at that.)
3. Visited J.D for a week. After over 2 months apart. Being apart that long is wretched. But anyways, I was listing good things that happened. So, I finally got to see him. We went shooting (I discovered I like rifles...), played video games, watched Futurama and Malcolm in the Middle ("You're not the boss of me now and you're not so big!"), went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (awesome movie; go see it if you haven't yet), got the new Harry Potter, and . . . did assorted other fun things. ;) *sigh* I miss him already. I know, I'm pathetic. :)
4. Went to the Vans Warped Tour in Cincinnati! I won two tickets and two backstage passes from a magazine. I took my sister Casey. We were ONSTAGE WITH MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE! Sorry for the yelling. I'm still excited and shocked it happened. We were there for nearly the entire set. It was so awesome. We both got hugs and autographs from Gerard Way, and Casey got a high-five from Bob. (She keeps telling this to everyone she sees every few minutes, including me even though I was there. lol) We also saw Fall Out Boy as they left through the backstage gate; they were being rushed off somewhere and couldn't stick around for autographs. Most of the guys at least smiled and waved to the poor kids who had really wanted to see them, but Pete Wentz hid his face so no one could take his picture. Everyone yelled to him that he was an asshole. It was amusing. The best was when a couple of shirtless guys ran after the go-cart-like thing Fall Out Boy was on, screaming "If you come back, we'll show you our tits!!"
5. I just got a call from one of my best friends, Brittany Osborn. She got engaged last night! So sweet. It's kinda weird to think about how a good part of my graduating class are married or engaged now (even though I'm one of them). It's like an epidemic.
