hokay..sooo here's the earth..
so that's how my speech started out...because I'm a dumbasse and as i was setting my stuff up..i sighed, "hokay..soo.." and someone else went, "here's the earth..damnnnnn".
luckily that caught people's attention, made them laugh, and so made my speech much more relaxing. In my class, people would ask me about drum corps, knowing nothing about it, and so I decided to write a speech of HOW to live a day in Drum Corps in DCI. It was supposed to be between 8-10 minutes..but i think mine lasted about 12-13 minutes..that's ok.. my eye contact was much better i think and people were really listening. I then popped in a 30 second clip of the Boston Crusaders from this past season's finals on ESPN2 and people were amazed. This one guy, crazy into football, said, "that is actually pretty effing cool. How much are you paid??" I laughed and said that you pay to do it and it's about 1500bucks. People thought I was automatically insane. Paying that much for sleeping on a gym floor, long bus rides, long sweaty rehearsals, and I'm NOT paid?? Why would I do that?
Easy. It's fun.
They still think I'm nuts..that's ok..there was one other person who completely understood, Sam, and she's a competitive dancer. She, too, pays to compete. Luckily someone else in my class gets it. Afterwards, she and a couple others wanted to see some more so I showed them Cavies. I should've shown them Blue Devils or the Blue Coat's show..even Phantom. Not Cavies..since there are ZERO big hits..it was pretty lame. Oh well.
I know I got an A.
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET.
Too bad my next one is a research speech.....cruuuuuuuuuuuuud...booooo

Well, I have a big ol' test tomorrow in biology..buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut...I'm going to Hagerstown to see my boiiiiy.
He soooo cute. hahaha
Party tomorrow and my brother is playing in a jazzy band. It's a costume-ish party and people ages 25-50 will be there. I don't know if there'll be alcohol..but theres gooood music..and ME!
