Nuzlockes getting updated.

May 26, 2014 01:26

Silver Randomlocke and STOP! THIEF! have both been updated. Though I haven't updated to that point yet, Silver Randomlocke currently stands at 15/16 badges. I just need to grind the team to 53 for Blue (5 levels below his aces).

...And then it's the long slog to 72 for Red. Oh JOY.

Who thought up this level curve, again?

At any rate, I may actually ( Read more... )

I haven't read your stuff in a while, and I had this huge flash of nostalgia while reading your Silver Randomlocke. Reading and giggling over your writing after a traumatic incident... Okay, odd nostalgia, but it does say that you comforted me at difficult times ::hugs::

Random thoughts:

I have Selfdestructing Goldeens on a rom of mine, too! I'd at first only edited HG to give me a Ralts starter, but then I had to randomise moves in order to get a damage-dealing starting move ^^; I have to power-level for so much longer than usual, since often if I can't guarantee a OHKO, I don't feel safe leaving a Pokemon out against such tough moves. My Ralts started with ZEN HEADBUTT. i replaced it with Extrasensory later, but that's a damn good starting move.

Oh my gosh, the translation on Green is awful. I can't help but think of how, when I was ten-ish, my best friend had a rom of Green and was able to play it from memory, not knowing any Japanese at all. He knew which moves his Pokemon would be learning next, what items he was picking up... I was very impressed! You'd almost be better trying that ;p

Also, Chirps! That is a very cute move. Nicer than growl ;p

Glad it could be helpful at a difficult time. *hugs back*

*whistles* Nice!

Dang, that's good. That might actually be a good challenge sometime if I get bored. :D;; There's a run KIND OF like that going on right now, except that the player hacked the ROM to replace all sprites by Missingno. So they still know the moves and the items, but they're relying upon memory to know what Pokemon they're fighting.

It is, I guess. :)
And, to be silly, I suppose Flowers Blooms is nicer than Fury Attack... o_o XD;;

Hope things are going all right for you!

I'm sure I've told you a million times that you have a flair for writing comedy, but seriously, you do. Actually, I'm re-reading your first Nuzlocke, with Wormtail and everyone, at the moment!

it is, but it's less impressive considering that EVERYONE, including level two Sentret and Hoothoot, have equally good moves ^^;;

Hmm, I'm still more impressed by being able to play a game accurately without being able to read anything in it!

No seriously, that's ridiculously cute. Also, I notice that Monster Ball is one of the few things which is kept the same rather than run through a ridiculous translation!
