Never, ever, ever use your real name as a pen name or anything like that online. Please.
Particularly not if it's an unusual name.
Because - put it this way, have you heard of a site called whitepages.com? I came across it while doing a Google search for somebody, and -
I now may know (if it's the same person) where they live, what age they are, and what their phone number is.
I did NOT want this knowledge. And I hope it's just somebody with the same name, because it freaks me out that their information would be available online so easily. My own name is more common, fortunately, so I'd be Google-camouflaged, but - be careful, everyone.
