[23] - New pair of glasses
I had found the pair of glasses that misplaced two weeks ago, only to accidentally sit on them on the couch. The frames had broken in half and far beyond repair. Fortunately, I had plans in the city to acquire some new books that had been published so I stopped by another store to purchase a new pair. I am always exasperated at how humans want others to spend their wealth... They had constantly questioned me while I was at a shop with glasses. Something about having a check-up appointment? I politely declined having one, the person had left with out a word. My, humans can be quite rude at times... Where has all the friendliness disappear to?
The weather has been warming up recently. Spending the summer as a human was very difficult... I had returned to the sea when the heat reached its peak some time in July. I did have longer hair and more weight on in the previous year, it may be a good idea to consider a haircut soon; perhaps that will enable me to bear the heat a bit better. It is quite troublesome when the climate changes so much, unlike under the sea...
