Huh. I was just in the library the other day, and it turns out that there were some clippings about me and Rua. Weird, huh?
They're about the time I fell into my coma, about eight years ago. They're from the Tatsu no Kiba papers.

And these- monsters are either sacred guardians or demons from the West, depending on the purity of the heart of he who carries them, or did at one point. The demons, naturally, must be confined. Their hearts are weighed, and those that are found wanting never meet Osiris; they are left to die the second death, as is no more than they deserve. Petty criminals, after all, do not harbor any such demon.

The judgement is always just.

It has to do with being the best bit of someone's soul sealed into a great stone tablet, being shuffled off to a nice alternate dimension, and being painted into playing cards when that Pegasus fellow got a clever idea about us.

Do you remember the person whose soul you used to be a part of?

I'd be rather interested in finding out, but I've not the faintest idea, really; my early years are so dreadfully fuzzy that I'd only give myself a headache trying to sort them out. I expect it was a noble and glorious person of such terrible beauty and grandeur that lesser mortals wept at the sight. At the very least it was someone quite forward-thinking.

You do? Huh. I didn't remember until my duel, and the other versions of you I've met don't remember it or my duel. I'm glad you do, though.

Is that right? I remember that he created them, but I couldn't remember where he got the idea. I've not been doing my homework as well as I should, since I got here.
