So I stop by work today to pick up a bonus check and see what time I'm supposed to be in tomorrow to find out I was supposed to be in yesterday. The day off I had was crossed out and someone wrote in pen that I was supposed to be in from 11-7 on Monday. This is brilliant considering that I was off both Saturday and Sunday and Friday night I left with my day off still intact. This is even worse considering I had no phone calls or messages to inform me of my newfound day of work. It'll be lovely explaining all of this to the manager tomorrow when I go in. I can't believe no one could look at the schedule, see that I was off, and put two and two together. Ruined my perfectly good mood.
In much more exciting news I have started P3. My thoughts on the game are as follows.
- Hey, I like the mood to the game and the story certainly got my attention.
- Oh cool, apparently you can raise your stats in class.
- ...or outside of class.
- Did I just raise my stats by playing an arcade game? That's awesome!
- Ok, battle time, hey, this is pretty fun. And challenging since I can't just swing sword and expect to emerge unscathed.
- Did my characters just gang rape that horde of badguys? Sweet!
- I just got cool stuff for talking to this one dude about Ramen...Why have I not played this game earlier?
This was swiftly followed by hunger which got put to the side until my brother got home and I had to get out of his room and stop playing (since the PS2 is in his room). I turned on the oven for a break and left it on for an hour while I continued playing. I must play more of this game. Curse you
atoli for taking away my precious soul with this game! Hopefully I will get more time to play it (preferably not by getting fired though).
