That's the approach that just might work if your world is determined to have humans and vampires live openly beside each other.

We're striving for it! There are some people who can be pretty negative about the prospects, but I think the academy is a good step in the right direction. As long as it continues to stand, it can continue to be a haven for everyone!

You've made frequent mention of this academy. Tell me more about it.

AH! It's a school run by my adoptive father. Apparently he was a vampire hunter himself in the past, before he realized that in order to achieve peace...he needed to step forward and break the chain of sadness and death.

The school is separated into two classes! The day class, and the night class. You can pretty much guess which class is consisted of vampires. We rotate the regular school facilities with the night class by switching off at the end of the day. The day class isn't aware that the night class...actually consists of vampires. The government doesn't publicly acknowledge their existence...so it's a secret we aren't allowed to share with others. But it's a step to prove that vampires are capable of getting along peacefully with humans.

Of course there are a lot of school rules. No one is allowed off campus...absolutely no drinking blood on school grounds, no violence, etc. Overall I think it's been a huge success.

What do the vampires think of this?

They are all there of their own free will, so I think it is something they all approve of. I know that several are there...because of Kaname-senpai. He's very important in the vampire world. But they all follow the rules, mostly without incident.

Kaname-senpai...is a very peaceful vampire...

But, the night class is responsible for creating what we call blood tablets back home. They are able to consume those as opposed to drinking human blood. I think they are working pretty hard. They're all nobles and above...and all of them are very intelligent.

It's an interesting effort, and an admirable one if vampires and humans prove equally inclined to live together.

It'll definitely be done! With Kaname-senpai on our side, there's no way it would fall apart. No matter what I saw in the fountain that day, I refuse to believe it. I won't let the school fall to pieces.

How well do you and your father know this Kaname-senpai?

You won't hear anything of value. She's like the rest of the girls from the day class. They all have someone they obsess over.

From the night class. She failed to mention we spend our evenings and night playing security guard against a bunch of fangirls. She belongs on the other side of the job most days.

It's a waste of time. What good are either of us going to be if the man of your dreams decides to betray everyone.
