I know, Lieutenant. I was just checking; I've had a boss that wasn't familiar with the division he was heading before and I don't want it to happen again.

I trust your judgement. But even going from what I know, I think he'd do well in the position.

I've told him you're the commanding officer in the unit; I'd be very surprised if he doesn't touch base with you soon. I don't want to appoint anyone to that position you'd be uncomfortable working for.
