Yes, I'm fairly certain I could be of help. Back home I was a Maverick Hunter. I tracked and neutralized rogue robots, so you could say I'm used to extreme danger.

I just don't want to be useless if I'm stuck here in the City.

That explains why Riou was glad to see your return. Then Riou's unit will be a good fit, I believe. Special Assaults handles dangerous targets beyond the scope of normal defense.

We try not to turn down willing and able hands, within reason.

He mentioned his unit and it seemed to be the best choice for me. I have some experience in squad tactics so it should be easy to settle in.

I'm assuming there's paperwork in addition to some of the stuff I've already given to and discussed with Riou.

Not too much, actually. Two letters of recommendation and the skills test, and I believe Riou said he was in the process of getting the paperwork done on the skills test done already, so you should be nearly set.

Someone who knows you from your home world or is on the police force already is ideal. I presume Riou would be willing to write you one - he apparently worked with you before.
