I'm aware the purpose is for anything involving the deceased or elsewise something damaging to the souls of the residents. However, the type of skills that seems to come with being a wizard tends to include some extra senses, which may be of benefit to the unit. It is, of course, up to you in the end.
He has; Abby Sciuto of Forensics was his first, and Harry Dresden is the second. I haven't successfully made contact with Dresden, but it should happen soon. He seems...enthusiastic, a little brash. Slightly impatient.

If he's not going to serve as an asset to the unit, there's no point in keeping him there.
I'd imagine Captain Kuchiki has rather lower standards for the terms than I do, yes. And it could be he...is just impatient to be doing something, I've only had one conversation with him at any length.

I have, yes. He is a wizard in his home world, and his first recommendation said that he served as something of a magical police officer there.
