If you could provide us with two character references and make yourself available for a skills assessment.

I'm available whenever, though I should warn you that my magic will most ruin any electronic or mechanical devices that I get within 10 feet of. So just a heads up for your skills assessment.

Then we shall conduct it further than ten feet away from electronic devices. Thank you for the warning.
I presume you're more interested in Special Assaults?

And to be honest I'd be a lot more valuable as an investigator than a wizard. I mean, if you need a guy to try and bust apart a magical ward on something or track down a missing person with a spell I'm your guy.
But if you look in the case files for the Serial Box Murderer that was around last year at this time you'll see that I tracked him down twice before he was finally captured. Granted, I was just trying to find where he lived so that I could call in the Police Force but the fact remains that I did it. I've helped out the department several times on a volunteer basis as well.
Cliff Notes version is that I think I'd be more valuable trying to solve crimes than apprehend criminals. Or maybe I'm just as valuable at both.

If you would prefer Intel, that's perfectly fine- I find it's best to place people both according to ability and where they would be the most comfortable. And I shouldn't have presumed. Besides, that division's a little shorthanded these days anyhow. I'm sure they'll appreciate the help.

I don't mind pulling double duty with the Special Assault division though if they need.

Noted- hopefully we won't be that shortstaffed, but I'll let them know you can be on call if there's a situation you feel you can help with.
