[For the most part, Touya's been pretty good at avoiding enemy attacks and dealing with the rooms in his house turning into the inside of a train, a swimming pool, an open field with mountains, and so on. [...that's a weird noise. Sheep? A lot of sheep.

Sounds like Touya needs help, though, so Yukito will be leaving the house about now, even if he isn't quite sure where he's going.]

A... sheep pit?

[This is embarrassing. Calling for help over stuffed sheep. But, well... of anyone, he'd feel the most comfortable with Yuki seeing him like this. The audio is full of bleating sheep, but Touya manages to find the journal and drag it towards him.]

A hole opened up near the fountain, and it's filling with-- [He grunts as he pushes against the layer of sheep.] --stuffed animals!

[Unfortunately for Touya, it isn't Yukito who ends up seeing him- there's no response on the journal, but only a few moments later Yue can be seen descending into the pit. And yes, it would seem that Touya has a plethora of plushies.]

[Touya looks up from his continued quest to drag himself to the top of the plushie-pile and spots Yue coming for him. Okay, so this thing isn't going to last forever, Yue just has to pull him out. Easy for a guardian--]

[Except now the sheep are pulling him under. Actively. Touya reaches a hand out for Yue's as the devil-sheep try their damnedest to keep Touya from Yue.]

[Perhaps Yue had intended to just fly down, grab Touya, and fly back out again, but when he notices the sheep are actually pulling Touya away he pauses, wings flaring as he hovers a short distance above and frowns at the walls of the pit. There's something- not quite a Clow Card, not even (thankfully) the aura of Eriol's magic, but still something that feels like a definite imitation.

The guardian lifts a hand and closes it around a bow that hadn't been there a moment before, then sets arrow to string and aims at the point where he feels the magic the strongest.]

Release him.

[The sheep are mostly obscuring Touya's view of what's going on, but he does see an impressive wingspan and Yue's bow. Something much worse than strangely-behaved stuffed animals was at work. But how, and what, was--]

[There's a brief lull when Yue points the arrow at the sheep, and then they start multiplying more virulently. Even going so far as to fly at Yue instead of into the pit. Touya struggles against the multiplying fluff, but it's getting to the point where the stuffed animals are so packed in, they're losing their give.]

[It's simple enough to shield against small projectiles like plush sheep, but Yue still allows himself to drift up a little higher, his aim never faltering. If that's how the game is going to be played, fine: being quite careful not to hit Touya, he lets the arrow fly.]

[All of the sheep around him suddenly convulse as one entity, though Touya can't see what's going on. Clearly, Yue has started his assault, trying to free Touya from sheepy-suffocation. There's a silence that follows, and then all of the sheep suddenly pop out of existence. Leaving Touya to drop back into the pit, of course, now completely unsupported.]

[Yue doesn't hesitate for an instant: as soon as the sheep vanish he folds his wings and drops to catch Touya before he can fall. It's his intention to get the both of them up and out of the pit before any of the pseudo-Cards decide to play some more and potentially cause additional havoc.]

[It's amazing, how fast Yue reaches him. Touya's almost certain he's going to fall back in and possibly hurt himself (especially since it looks like the pit's widening to increase how far he has to fall). However Yue's arms are around him long before he's going to hit the bottom, and they're flying out.]

[Of course, Touya was only the bait for Yue: sheep start raining down on them again, though Yue's out of the pit before they can pin Touya and Yue down. Now they're just being pelted with stuffed animals.]

[Annoying, perhaps, but the plush toys are hardly a danger now: once clear of the confines of the pit Yue lifts a little higher than the opening, wings flaring as he hovers for a moment and frowns at a bleating sheep as it soars past. If he lands whatever-it-is might open another hole in the ground, but while holding Touya it's difficult for him to deal with the hidden opponent.]

...perhaps if we simply get far enough away the effects will end.

Or they'll give up. [Touya holds tightly to Yue, even though he feels almost weightless. God, he's talking about stuffed sheep as though they actually had the mental capacity to 'give up' or 'persevere'.]

Can you move fast enough with me like this, or-- [A sheep flies at and clings to his arm. Touya knocks it off with his bag.] --are we going to be a flying sheep-magnet?

I'm less worried about the sheep than I am what caused the pit to open up.

[He scowls and turns away, flying a bit higher as he heads back toward the house again. Perhaps he shouldn't be leaving pseudo-Clow Cards to wreak havoc, but maybe once Touya is back and safe he can return and deal with it.]

Aside from the whole town suddenly being turned on it's head? I woke up on a church pew this morning, and a bunch of guys in helmets ran by the other day shouting about assassins...

[The sheep seem to have given up for the moment, so Yue and Touya can fly in peace. This is the first time he's seen Luceti from the sky--or, at least, this is the first time he's been himself and seeing Luceti from the sky. He looks out at the horizon, noting how quiet and peaceful it feels up here as opposed to in the pit with all the sheep.]

[He looks up at Yue, just staring for a moment, then puts his hand on the guardian's shoulder. Not because he needs to hang on.]

It felt almost like a Clow Card. Or two of them, rather. But not quite the same, like a... an imitation with no depth, like a set piece in a play.

[The puzzle of it is distraction enough that he isn't really paying attention to the ground beneath him as he flies, though after a moment the staring registers and he refocuses on Touya, blinking once at the touch on his shoulder.]

[Touya can't begin to guess how Clow Cards feel, or even how he would tell an imitation from the real thing--but that's Yue's specialty anyway. Whether or not whatever attacked him was an imitation or an actual Clow Card isn't of any moment.]
