Moroi Court, Mid-Pennsylvania | Very, Very Late Sunday Night (Early Monday Morning FH-Time)

Mar 20, 2011 22:48

Rose still didn't know what exactly had happened earlier. But Lissa had...made a miracle. She'd looked almost like an angel after using more magic than Rose or anyone had thought possible so a miracle was the right word...right?

She'd also refused to let the doctors look at her burned wrists until she'd spoken to Dimitri. For once, Lissa was acting like a typical princess, but she was getting results. Already half the guardians and Moroi looked at her like she was a saint, and the other half seemed terrified to get in her way. Rose was neither, and she didn't care that Lissa said maybe she should wait a day or two before going to see Dimitri, that he'd had a horrible time and really needed quiet to recover. She loved him. If Lissa got to talk to him, Rose was going to too. She could help him, reassure him, ...cause the walls of prison to echo with her voice as she demanded to see him.

Even the guardians seemed to think it was a bad idea, but no one had forbidden it so finally, finally they let her in to see Dimitri.

impossible things, dimitri
