Bee's personality is his greatest strength and his greatest weakness. The key points of his personality do not lay within his intelligence but within his absolute loyalty, strong moral code, and intense care for those around him. Bumblebee is so focused on the well being of others that he often overrides or forgets his own needs completely. Extremely brave and an outstandingly hard worker. Truth of the matter might be that he doesn't even know his own needs too well at all. He's functioning, he's useful and needed, he's alright. There is a downfall of his often complete selflessness. Bumblebee is sometimes selfless to the point of endangering himself. He will jump the bullet for those he cares for. He will go against an opponent whom is regularly ten times his strength, and with his determination (and of course his skill) win, in some form or another (though not always, hence why he is often captured and tortured a lot). He is a guardian, after all.
Bumblebee also has a playful side. He can be a bit mischievous when he likes someone or knows them well. He's very, very friendly and always willing to help people. He's quite capable of sarcasm and snide. Overall he has a very relaxed and fun personality with a bit of a liking toward the wild side. While he is cautious, he is a robot. He likes to have fun and having fun for someone like him can be a little extreme for a regular human. Overall, Bumblebee is caring, generous, a great listener with often equally as great advise. Though he also has a bit of sarcasm and snark in his system.
Bumblebee is also incredibly intelligent, even for a bio-mechanical organism. Due to the fact that his strength is in defense and espionage, he is very adaptive and very flexible. Bumblebee is a quick thinker. He's attentive, and follows orders of those who either have the status of a man above him, or those who show they can lead properly, fairly, and justly.
His darker side is something that will need to be explored on. Bumblebee is always helping, always there for people, always putting himself in the line of danger for the better. Its very possible for him to have a lot of hidden emotions that even he is not aware of, that he even possibly suppresses because the 'job needs to get done' - 'his duty is above all else'. These things may include bitterness, anger, and depression.
