Hello everyone! I hope things are going well. I put up a generic OOC contact post on Loran's journal, as well as a fun clip I found from his series, if anyone's interested.
Oooooh. Tricky, but I'll give it a whirl! There are a lot of different elements that come together, so giving a summary in three words is diffcult, but my mind settled on 'Unconventional industrial revolution'. Turn-A Gundam takes place in the far future, in kind of a post-post-apocalyptic scenario where the bad stuff went down thousands of years ago and is spoken of in hushed tones as the 'dark history'. Since then, Earth's people have recovered to roughly the equivalent of WWI era technology, and one of the big players in the series is the heir of a fiefdom named Inglessa (pretty much New New England, a lot of the Earth bits take place in North America) who has been pushing to industrialize his lands. There are a lot of scenes that show how people with that sort of mind set adapt to suddenly coming into contact with extremely advanced technology, especially as the series progresses and a lot of the characters from Earth end up travelling to the moon with all of its advanced sci-fi tech
( ... )
No worries. I know how that can be, I have a hard time with certain methods of communication sometime.
I currently don't have an AIM account, at least not one I remember the details to, but I'm probably going to fix that here shortly as I'm starting to feel more and more comfortable with getting out of my shell when it comes to that sort of thing. So I'm sure I'll see you around there shortly!

I know absolutely nothing about Loran's series. If you had to describe it in no more than three words, what would those words be?
