It's that time again . . .
Nope. Haven't found the Muse yet. Thank YOU to Mamono, her worm, and Winterwing3000 for aiding in The Cause.
Anyway, I'm taking a small break in the ficcing to tackle my yearly problem of ARTWORK. After every semester (but more, during the summer break), I start sorting through my drawings/doodles/sketches whatever, choosing the ones I wanna keep and the ones I wanna trash. It hath begun. Tonight I'm sorting through my desk materials (You do not want to know what my desk looks like . . . it's BAD) and bed stuff (yes, I have drawings, art plans, and crap strewn all over my BED too), not to mention the pile I kinda dumped into my laundry hamper momentarily -_- To get it out of the common room and kitchen ;-; I'm so pathetic.
Tomorrow I'm gonna hit my book bags, notes, homework pads, and scratch paper. Joy. Then I'll go through all that (plus the stuff I've been stuffing into my art binders through the year) and pick out which ones I'll keep, cutting them out, and throwing out the ones I don't want.
God, I hate doing this, but I know that - if I let it slide - I'll have even more to look through later. It's almost depressing. At least I have fresh batteries for my discman. If I couldn't have music, I'd go insane.
And - who knows - revisiting old sketches might inspire me. Here's hopin'. In the meantime, I'm trying to hit a few more things off the wishlists. Thank God there's a winter break.
