Incomplete
Nothing happens in my life so, I guess this entry will be about fics, pics, and new fandoms (since that's all I'm really interested in). I don't seem to be getting anywhere with ANYTHING - job, thesis, housework, or fics. sigh
On the fic front, despite not getting anything substantial written, I'm actually not as useless as I seem. Believe it or not, I put an insane amount of thought into my stupid little plot bunnies. I like development, but more, I like symbolism and playing word games. So, after I outline a story, I usually go on a mental rampage through my data banks deciding what symbols I'm going to be using and for what purpose, what words will be flags, and what themes will be at the forefront or in the undercurrents. As of right now, my main concern is Walk on Water. I'm a fan (and a purveyor) of two person interractions. I don't like messing with groups of people in any given scene because it's hard for me to juggle a bunch of personalities at one time. It's a great weakness of mine. Which is sort of why I dread coming scenes in this fic . . . even though it'll be Raven and Robin interracting most of the time. I'm INSANELY looking forward to the next chapter (the one after the one I'm working on) because it will ONLY feature Robin and Raven. I already have their dialogue mapped out . . . but - depending on what happens in this chapter, it'll change slightly.
As for 30kisses, I have a smidgeon of an idea for #21 R/R. Belgarion/Ce'Nedra is rather up in the air. It's easier to focus on them as they are married in the book series and very much in love with each other, thank you ^_^ Although, I might do one or two occurring BEFORE they realized they loved each other. In a way, the book series lost something once they got together. They were hilarious before they admitted their feelings. I still chuckle when I think of the scene when Ce'Nedra found out they would be getting married. For those who didn't read the series (yet?), Ce'Nedra was an Imperial Princess required by a 500 year old treaty to show up in the country of Riva (which had been kingless for 500 yrs.) on her 16th birthday. If the Rivan king finally showed up (it had been prophesied that one day he would return), she would have to marry him. Well, she had been traveling with Garion (a farm boy) and his friends to Riva at the behest of Garion's "Aunt Pol" (actually a very powerful sorceress - he didn't know this until some time after they started traveling). The two were . . . well, they didn't get along well XD That, and - to put it bluntly - Ce'Nedra's somewhat of a royal snob. So, imagine her surprise when the scullery boy she'd been traveling with turns out to be the Rivan King!!!!! She just stood up in front of the entire crowd and screamed, "NOOOOOOO!!!!!" And poor Garion had no fucking clue as to why. She had to EXPLAIN it to him (which was hysterical).
And . . . I think I'll shut up now before I go into my second favorite scene featuring them - when Ce'Nedra told Garion she was preggers for their first child.

1. The Raven/hanging by her cape: I think I've decided to do Robin one side and Nightwing on the other. I've got my models chosen, poses I'd like them to be in. I just need to start practicing a bit. I haven't decided yet if Nightwing will be taking his mask off . . . I think it would be cool though if he was. We'll see what I can do.
2. Baka-comic, courtesy of angelica_love: Someone's been messing with Robin's mask XD XD ---> specifically, putting hot pink goggly eyes on it; and whoever the prankster is, isn't telling.
3. Love is Blind: I still haven't figured out HOW I'm gonna do this. I have this idea, and it needs to be worked out pose wise. It's going to feature a blind folded Robin, with Raven holding his mask to her mouth while her other hand pulls the ends of the blind fold.
4. R/R pic for svelterose: Will feature - Raven in ONLY an apron, Nightwing half clothed (but masked), a cleared kitchen table, and Beastboy being sick XD
5. Her Inner Child: Adult!Raven holding Child!Raven -- I have a sketch of this already but it needs a do over.
6. Azar's Rings: A sort of poster-ish sketch that features 13 year old Raven holding the infamous box, the profiles of Arella and Sabe behind her. I already did this . . . twice (as it turns out -- I've been rifling through my boxes as I write this entry to find those outlines). Again, they need a do over. One version has Arella and Sabe, the other has Azar and Arella. Maybe I'll do a series cuz my OUTLINE of the sketch (which I just unearthed) has Batman and Robin in the background XD
7. Holding Hands: There's a scene in a short I wrote -- the first R/R fic I ever wrote actually . . . before I ever saw "Birthmark" where Robin and Raven share a silent moment on the roof and he just holds her hand. I want to draw that, their clasped hands at the center/focus of the pic with them as the background.
8. Worth the Risk: An illustration for the first meeting described in Walk on Water when Robin saves Raven from having her box burgled.
9. Hold me: Sketched out - Robin holding Raven from behind. She looks pained. He looks determined.
10. Leavetaking: 'Nother illo for WoW Raven's exit from Azarath as Sabe looks on.

And since I looked through my boxes, I found all sorts of goodies! And . . . and . . . I need to scan some of my original characters. I actually do more of THOSE than I do anything else. Like Eurydice and Fate and Gabriel and Musashi and . . . . you get the idea. I also need to send rhapsody_dragon yet another doodle I did for In the Sands a while back which I just found XD
Speaking of my box of Cr . . . er art. My cousin Sherry came by yesterday to buy some shrimp (TRAWLING SEASON'S ALMOST OFFICIALLY OVER!!! YUS!!!!!!) and she brought her three year old daugher Sarah along (who - like every other very young child in my family gravitated to me and Daddy O.O I have no idea why). So, she followed me to my room and she said she wanted me to draw an animal for her (I don't know how she remembered that I draw, she didn't ask anyone else to draw for her O.O) so I asked what she wanted and she said a horse. I pulled out a practice sketch of Mamono's Ezra and Sarah immediately says "More" -_-; In response, I pulled out my BIG SCRAPBOOK and started paging through it. She would point and ask "Who's him?" every now and then. Well, I have this sketch of . . . it's a sort of wierd reincarnation kinda sketch which looks like two naked women embracing. Well, Sarah was all about the "BOOBIES!" then she says "Who's boy???" And I made a huge mistake and say, "It's two girls." She runs and tells her mother "TWO GIRLS! TWO GIRLS! BOOBIES!" XD I love kids. I really, really do.
Ah, fandoms. Saw "Stranded" (new ep. of Teen Titans) and . . . aside from the R/S-ness, I thought it was hilarious. Beast Boy kills me when he's bantering with Cyborg XD And I'm in LOVE with all the male voice actors. ALL OF THEM!!!! ESPECIALLY SLADE!!!! There. I said it. I love, love, love Slade's voice *tremors* Raven and her little followers were cute but . . . did anyone notice that the others didn't even seem to think about her till they were just about to leave the planet????? Seriously? That sort a freaked me out along with a few other things but . . . but I COULD KISS ROBIN!!!!!! I'm biased, I admit but Robin truly didn't seem to want to call Star his "girlfriend." I think he's still at that stage where he hasn't really developed an interest in girls in THAT way. When he was complimenting her he stayed away from physical attributes and pretty much only mentioned her strengths as a team member. As for Raven . . . what they hell happened to her bust???? It like EXPANDED O.O And was it just me or were the animators multiplying her sex appeal by putting her in strange positions???? O.O Freaky.
I'm getting deeper into Danny Phantom, but unlike most of my fandoms, I'm not interested in romance for this series. I'm loving the relationships Danny has with his family, particularly his sister who knows he's halfa but HE doesn't know that she knows ^_^ It's cute, how protective of him she is. Again, totally reminds me of my relationship with my bro. THeir parents are delightfully cracked XD
AND -- WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME ABOUT AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER???? Holy SHIT! I was flipping channels and saw the opening sequence and I was like -- blown away! Apparently it's ranked number 1 since it started but I've never ever heard of it till I caught it by accident! WHAT THE HELL???????

Tomorrow, I have to bring my grandmother to the gynecologist. Yippee! ^_~ For now, I'd better scan that itty bitty doodle for Mamono.
