MCA #4 | Wednesday Most of the Day

Aug 25, 2010 12:49

Nothing felt strange. Even with his books and clothing stowed and shipped off to Montana to avoid airport fees, the apartment still felt like someone lived there. Which was good, since someone still did. And she could use the furniture that had to stay behind since Dimitri didn't expect to have anywhere to put sofas and chairs or a bed of his own for years, if ever.

There were hours yet before he had to leave, but his things were ready. Honestly, his things had been ready before he'd gone to the gym the day before. Waiting until the last minute was simply not his style. As prepared as his belongings were, Dimitri himself was uncertain he was ready to leave, but he would. It was time.

Stretched on the sofa, he paged through the book he'd selected for the plane realizing that there would be a lot of time for reading soon.

[Last post! Sappy mun is sad.]
