I'm SO pissed.
My brother has tried to call DHS to get his children back. Despite the fact that she told him she was coming home and that she would call him, has not called him, has no job, and we have no idea where she and the boys are, they told him not to worry about it. AKA they are not going to do a fucking thing, even though they are HIS kids and she took the kids away with the intention of not returning. If the roles were flipped and he was the one who ran off with the kids, you know that they'd be all over that expecting the kids to be dead or raped or some mess. Now what? We can't afford a lawyer. My mother wants him to call the police and mention that he's worried about their well-being. I still think if he wanted to mess her up he could file a missing person's report. After all, we haven't heard from her WHATSOEVER since she left. But I don't think that would do a lick to get the kids back.
