Whee there's TOTALLY nothing wrong!
So now my mother is filing a complaint on the doctor who saw my step-dad the other night at the ER. You know how he has been having leg pains? Maybe not but he has been having leg pains since before he went to the hospital for the big heart/lung issues. His feet were turning blue, legs swelling up, becoming extremely difficult for him to walk.
Well he went back to the ER a night or so ago because he felt pain and numbness in his leg. He described it like a pressure cuff was cutting off the blood flow to his leg and he was really wobbly on his feet. My mother and the nurse that was assigned to him were worried it might be a blood clot so they went to the ER. The doctor told them that he didn't want to "deal with leg cramps tonight" and basically sent them home with nothing done.
They went to the hospital again today because it was getting worse and they knew in the first place it wasn't cramps. The doctor who saw them that time told them that her arteries in his legs were extremely blocked up for various reasons so he needed surgery ASAP. I think they tried to get it done today but it didn't happen because it was worse than the doctor thought so they have to wait. Anyway, he has to get stints (or stents?) in his leg now to help the blood flow or else he could lose his leg. Yeah, totally just cramps.
