in which Kal sparks a heated discussion over KH again
I finally sat down and watched the trailers for the three new KH games.
I'm fully convinced now, more than ever, that Xion is related to Aqua. The very fact that she seems confused whenever someone mentions Kairi and her being connected has decided it for me. Riku starts telling her about Kairi, and how Xion "should return to her true self". Xion looks lost and confused. Riku just finished alluding to the fact that Xion is Kairi...so why would she be so confused? She knows her true self is gone. Aqua is gone. She can't return to who she is.
When she says "how can one person be two different people?" also alludes to the connection between Terra --> Xehanort the Apprentice --> Ansem the Heartless | Xemnas the Nobody
but it ALSO alludes to Ven --> Sora --> Roxas
Xion knows Ven is her friend and that Terra is too. Terra becoming Xemnas has hurt and confused her. Now he doesn't treat her like a friend. Ven doesn't remember her, but she strives to win his kindness back.
If you want to say Ven =/= Roxas, then fine. It can work that way too. Xion thinks Roxas is connected to her past memories as Aqua, and wants his friendship. Roxas doesn't have to be Ven. He just looks like him.
If you want to say that Aqua =/= Xion, that's fine too. If she's connected to Kairi, then she'll think of Roxas like Sora. My theories work either way.
On top of that, the fact that everyone keeps calling her a Sue is bugging the living shit out of me. Yeah, she's got a keyblade. Yes, she's befriended Axel and Roxas. Wow, what a shocker. Considering Demyx takes the path of least resistance and will follow his superiors or, you know, DIE...it's not a wonder that Xion would seek out the kinder people in the Organization. Roxas practically has a heart, and Axel looks like he only cares because Roxas does.
If you're going to bitch about Xion breaking them up...dear god, who cares? It's not a shipping war. And considering Axel doesn't mind fighting her to save Roxas and is ready to kill her or throw her away to keep Roxas around...yeah, she's not breaking anyone up, so chill the fuck out already.
So...who kills Xion? My money is on either Axel, Xemnas, or Riku. Axel would off her to save Roxas, no questions asked. Xemnas would probably kill her if that meant keeping the Chamber of Sleep and Chamber of Awakening a secret. And Riku? Well, DiZ alludes to the fact that Sora has stopped gaining his memories back because of a glitch, which is probably Xion. Riku will probably be told that she will return to Kairi if she dies. I wouldn't be surprised if Riku killed her or found a way to remove her from the picture.

Remember, Namine can control memories. Anyone connected to Sora can be controlled by her. That means, in turn, anyone connected to Roxas. She probably wipes everyone's memories of Xion. Also, Xion keeps running away to Destiny Islands, the Mansion, and other places to find out who she is. Xemnas probably got fed up and took her from the list. She was probably considered a rogue agent by that time.
...In conclusion, I don't care what you think of Xion, but give the character a chance. I think she's more connected to Aqua than Kairi, thus removing the tension there. So seriously, guys...stop going crazy about her and give her a chance. If she turns out to be a Sue, who cares? She's gonna be removed/killed off.
