Do you know what I did today?
I cleaned! I unpacked boxes! I arranged knick-knacks on various flat surfaces! I have a bread ooze in the fridge 'prefermenting' that tomorrow I will make into BREAD.
I am probably the least domestic woman to ever walk the earth, but y'all... after six months of being in my new place, I'm finally getting some art up onto the walls!
The bad thing about discount frames is that they don't always come with hardware on the back so you can actually hang them. On the other hand, you can pick some up brackets at the hardware store. Poor jane_drew_ has been putting up with me hammering on things all evening and for my labors I have three pictured framed and up on the wall!
Also, I got my W2 in the mail today! I have done my taxes!
Although.... this would be cooler if I wasn't apparently in that special bracket of folks that the IRS just aren't getting to until the end of February.
Sometimes the early bird gets the worm. Sometimes the early bird gets handed a number and told to wait their turn.
Silver lining: I can see my floooooooor!
EDIT: ... also? Randomly? I have gotten two checks in the mail. One from a credit card company whose card I canceled LAST YEAR and a refund from my last bill with AT&T. All told, it comes to $11. -_O?
