The IL no the Nois
So my assistantship stuff starts on thursday, and classes start the wednesday after that. I'm excited to finally get started at UIUC considering that I've been waiting since spring.
My place is starting to look like it's my place. Still have to put pictures and stuff up. I also need to get some pictures developed so that I can see all of the lovely faces that I miss so much. I want to frame some of the Discovery pictures we've done over the years. I have a nice one of Innovation from back in the day. I think this will be the hardest part of grad school - no longer having guard in my life. I'm going to [one of the] UIUC gyms. I hope to make this a routine a couple times a week - and if I have a bunch of time between classes and/or working in the shop, the Krannert Center happens to be right near by the main facility. Plus there's an indoor pool with a waterslide!! So hopefully I can get in this routine. I refuse to just lose my 'figure' at such a young age. Nope nope!!
My computer should be coming within the next week!! I'm very excited. I've already received the free iPod nano and the discounted Canon printer that I got with it. Now I'm just waiting on the machine to show up. Very excited. Hopefully I can play around with it before classes start. (not that I know what classes I'm taking or what the class schedule is. This is the problem with not having to pay for your education.)
Any way! I hope everyone out there is doing really well and I miss you all sooooooooo much. I need you in my life!! Please take care and let me know how you're doing. Because it's important to me.
