Non existant weekend...
Last weekend was so busy I felt like I needed a weekend to recover from the weekend
There was a work conference in the city so I got to stay in the city Friday. Yay!!! Well...I had to go to a company dinner and reception on Friday after work. That was meh...
After dinner I snuck out and went to see a Swedish preteen vampire movie at the lumeire, Let the Right One In. I really enjoyed it. Watch it before the American remake hits the theaters, because it will surely blow balls.
After the movie I went back to the hotel where I was joined by a lady friend. We had sex.
Saturday I spent the whole day at the conference. I had only gotten a few hours of sleep so I felt like a zombie. After the conference I went home and fell asleep. I was hoping it would be a short nap so I could see my friends band play in berkeley but I apparently needed the rest.
Sunday was hectic as well. I had paddling practice at 8am. It was so cold and windy but it was nice being out on the water.
After practice I had enough time to shower and change before I had to head up to Oakland to watch a friend perform at the Oakland lunar new year festival. We all went to eat afterwards which was wonderful because I was starving. I hadn't eaten since the day before.
After the late lunch I drove to sports basement in potrero hill for another friends fund raiser. He is doing a triathalon in new Zealand for an cystic fibrosis charity.
I was dying. I needed sleep. The drive home was scary.
