I know I said this last time, but that was just wrong. I knew it was going to happen,
again, but it's just... GAH! Why can't Rose and the Doctor be together, goddamit! Why
must everything be angst and misery? The only kiss they got was when Nine was saving
her life at the end of Season 1. I still miss Nine, by the way. Ten is adorable and
hilarious, but I keep imagining how Nine would have reacted to whatever trouble
they're in. I kinda wish they'd bump across an alternate dimension where Nine is still around so they could both be there at the same time.
Someone please tell me that not all of the Season finales are like this. I can't take
it anymore.
Now that I have the angst out the way, here are some things I loved about the second
season:
--When the Christmas tree was attacking in the first episode, how Ten woke up just
because Rose said "Help me" in his ear.
--The Doctor's boundless enthusiasm for all things mechanical.
--"Physics!"
--The power play/bonding between Rose and Sarah Jane
--The horse in "The Girl in the Fireplace"
--Mickey saving the day in "The Age of Steel"
--Ten saying, "If there's one thing I believe in, I believe in her." about Rose before destroying the Devil thing. Rose/Doctor moments are love.
ETA: Rose boasting to the Daleks that she killed their emperor and their whole fleet. Rose rocks!
--How the Daleks shrank back when they learned that the strange man was no other than The Doctor aka The Oncoming Storm
--Daleks vs Cybermen!
--"Physics!" (Sorry, I got stuck on that one. Ten is so silly.
