From waking up at 9 (I haven't woken up before 10:30 in weeks), to being stuffed in a car for an hour, to writing, to watching a horrible Heores episode to reading up on the state of gay fiction and excessive defensiveness to writing some more until my body hurts and my stomach is annoyingly hungry to hearing from someone who had great insider

*sigh* Heroes bummed me out so much last night that I'm not even really looking forward to the next episode. Which is kind of pathetic. I feel like reading some gay fiction myself but I don't have the time. And all the writing I try to do comes out bad. Gah, it's been a bad week.

I perked up a bit when Peter appeared in the preview, but thinking of Elisabeth Rohm appearing again in the future brought me right down again. And the show was doing so well! Just when I stopped bracing myself and started to believe that it would stay good, the quality drops again. I'm so tired of being disappointed by this show.
Reading gay fiction itself is better than reading the discussions around it. Especially as concerns us female writers writing it. Bleargh. I'm sorry your weeks been bad. Badness tends to stick together in a chain of horribleness.
